The Buscemi x DC Shoes Lynx is a hybrid design created by longtime collaborators Jon Buscemi and DC Shoes that fuses the worlds of high-end, luxury footwear with skate-centric tech and vibes. Beneath the surface, the narrative of this design features an extensive backstory that dates back to the 1990s. Buscemi, an employee with DC Shoes back in the day, longed to include an opulent approach to DC Shoes footwear releases but was unable to due, in part, to logistical limitations. Now, at the helm of his own footwear empire, Buscemi traces his roots back to DC Shoes as they outfit the classic Lynx design with premium full-grain brown leather handmade in Italy. Subtle Buscemi branding appears on the mid-panel with 18K gold lace locks adding a luxurious feel to the skateable design. Keeping in tune with the minimalist vibes of the shoe, a chunky tonal rubber sole with signature DC Shoes branding completes the look of this elevated skate shoe. The Buscemi x DC Shoes Lynx was released on September 6, 2019.
