Darling Bodice

The Darling Bodice is a timeless layering piece designed to bring both structure and charm to your wardrobe. Inspired by historical silhouettes and made to blend seamlessly into modern cottagecore style, it is the perfect garment for adding shape and romantic detail to your favorite outfits. Whether worn over a flowing dress or paired with a blouse and skirt, the Darling is endlessly versatile and beautifully flattering.

Crafted from traditional cotton twill, the fabric provides more structure than a standard weave while still feeling natural and breathable against the skin. This bodice is fully lined and features flexible boning for gentle support, helping to create that classic cinched silhouette without sacrificing comfort. It’s a piece made to last and to mold with wear, softening slightly over time while holding its shape.

The front lacing and shoulder straps allows for the classic, CottagecoreWear adjustable fit. Once you have perfected your fit by lacing and tightening the adjustability, you can use the side zipper for easy dressing and undressing for the everyday. 

We recommend staying true to size when choosing your Darling Bodice. However, if your bust measurement falls between sizes or you're hoping for a more corseted and fitted look, consider sizing down for that extra snug feel. Made in 100% twill cotton. The bodice meausure 10,5 inches at the front panel (where the lacing is), measured on a size M. There is variety between sizes, with larger sizes having slightly more length. Original design by CottagecoreWear in-house, and manufactured in a limited quantity in collaboration with a small ethical production site in Hong Kong. We ship all our pieces from our offices in Norway.
