Mellifera Cape

Introducing the Mellifera Cape, Mellifera meaning “Honey Baring” in Latin.

The cape is inspired by a Spring day and features delicate bumblebees and flowers that have been meticulously embroidered onto deadstock black satin fabric.  It’s been hand embroidered with hues of golden yellow, green, blue and pink threads to demonstrate blooming flowers and bees creating a visually striking effect contrast. 

Elegantly to match its complex embroidery is its black fringed tassels lining the bottom of the cape. This iconic piece can be styled many ways!

Annie has partnered with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust who work  to raise public awareness of the threats bumblebees face and to help rare bumblebees through active conservation work to safeguard, restore and create habitats for them.  10% of Profits will be going straight to conserve bumblebees and their habitat!
